Led by Fawn Meeking, RPN, our team focuses on personalized care and advanced technologies designed to address the root causes of health concerns.
Fawn Meeking is the founder and lead Registered Practical Nurse at A Step Above Wellness Centre, a nurse-led functional wellness clinic dedicated to helping people understand and restore their bodies from the core to the floor.
What began as a medical foot care nursing practice has evolved into a comprehensive wellness centre focused on pelvic health, core strength, posture, movement, pain management, and long-term vitality.
Fawn believes that the body does not work in isolated parts. The pelvic floor, core, hips, spine, and nervous system function as an integrated system. When one area becomes weak, overworked, or misaligned, symptoms such as bladder leakage, pelvic pressure, back pain, hip pain, digestive issues, or reduced strength can develop.
This belief led her to develop the clinic’s Core-to-Floor™ Care Model, a structured approach that begins with a clinical assessment and then layers supportive therapies and guided movement to help restore function.

Amanda Fox is a Registered Practical Nurse at A Step Above Wellness Centre, where she provides compassionate, patient-focused care within the clinic’s Core-to-Floor™ functional wellness model.
Amanda’s clinical background includes medical foot care nursing, pelvic health support, and therapeutic movement guidance, allowing her to support clients across multiple stages of their health journey.
As a certified Foot Care Nurse, Amanda helps patients manage and maintain healthy feet through preventative and therapeutic care. She works with a wide range of clients including those with diabetes, circulation challenges, mobility concerns, and chronic foot conditions. Her focus is always on comfort, prevention, and maintaining independence and mobility.
Amanda is also trained in pelvic health support, working with clients experiencing symptoms such as bladder leakage, pelvic floor weakness, postpartum changes, and menopause-related concerns. Within the clinic’s nurse-led model, she assists clients through supportive therapies and treatment plans designed to help restore pelvic strength and confidence.
In addition to her nursing care, Amanda is a Guided Reformer Movement Specialist, helping clients safely rebuild core strength, posture, balance, and functional movement patterns through structured Pilates-based reformer sessions. These guided sessions are often integrated into layered care plans to help reinforce the structural support needed for long-term results.
Amanda works closely with the clinic’s interdisciplinary team to ensure each client receives coordinated, supportive care tailored to their needs and goals.
Her approach is rooted in education, prevention, and helping clients better understand how their body moves and functions.
Amanda believes that small improvements in strength, stability, and daily movement can create meaningful changes in overall health, confidence, and quality of life.
Grace Sizenado is a licensed Physiotherapist working collaboratively within the Core-to-Floor™ functional wellness model at A Step Above Wellness Centre. Her clinical focus is helping clients restore strength, stability, and confident movement by addressing the musculoskeletal patterns that influence pelvic health, posture, and whole-body function.
Grace believes that lasting results come from understanding how the body moves as an integrated system. Many common symptoms such as pelvic floor dysfunction, low back pain, hip pain, core weakness, postural imbalance, and movement limitations are rarely caused by a single structure alone. Instead, they reflect how the muscles, joints, and nervous system are coordinating together.
Her approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy assessment with corrective exercise, movement retraining, and progressive strengthening to help clients rebuild function safely and effectively.
Within the clinic’s collaborative care model, Grace works closely with the nursing team to support patients experiencing a range of concerns including:
