Your pelvic floor does not work in isolation — neither should your care.
Core-to-Floor™ is A Step Above Wellness Centre®'s broader approach to understanding and supporting the relationship between your pelvic floor, core, posture, movement and functional strength.
Care begins with assessment. Based on your individual needs, your plan may include pelvic floor treatment, targeted muscle activation, guided movement, progressive strengthening and physiotherapy collaboration or referral when appropriate.
How Core-to-Floor™ May Support You
Pelvic Floor Support
Core Strength & Stability
Individualized & Non-Surgical
How Core-to-Floor™ Works Core-to-Floor™ is not a single device or fixed package.
Your pelvic floor, abdomen, hips, back, breathing and movement patterns work together. Your care plan is therefore based on what your assessment identifies rather than automatically prescribing the same combination of treatments to everyone. When appropriate, treatment may include:
Emsella — a non-invasive, chair-based treatment that uses electromagnetic stimulation to produce repeated pelvic floor muscle contractions. It may be recommended for appropriate pelvic floor concerns.
Emsculpt NEO — uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy with radiofrequency and may be incorporated to support targeted muscle activation and strengthening when appropriate.
Treatment may also be supported by guided movement, progressive strengthening, education and reassessment.
Physiotherapy collaboration or referral may be recommended when appropriate.
Important distinction
Emsella is a treatment. Core-to-Floor™ is the broader approach to assessment, education, function and individualized care.
Your Starting Point
Comprehensive Clinical & Functional Assessment — $165
Your assessment helps us understand your symptoms, health history, goals, posture, movement and functional needs.
Assessment findings help guide appropriate next steps and determine whether pelvic floor treatment, targeted muscle activation, guided movement, progressive strengthening, physiotherapy collaboration or other recommended care may be appropriate.
Your Results Review is included so we can explain what we found and discuss your recommended care plan.

Eventually, these should connect into the 12 Pathways of Care, but I would defer that navigation rebuild until Master 04 rather than complicating Vita's initial migration.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if Core-to-Floor™ is appropriate for me? Core-to-Floor™ may be considered for adults experiencing pelvic floor concerns, bladder leakage or urgency, reduced core strength, changes in stability or other functional concerns.
Because these concerns can have different causes, we begin by learning about your health history, symptoms and goals before recommending care.
No. Core-to-Floor™ is individualized. Emsella, Emsculpt NEO, guided movement, progressive strengthening and other services are recommended only when appropriate to your needs.
Response to treatment varies depending on your starting point, symptoms, goals and recommended care. Progress is reviewed throughout care rather than promising the same outcome or timeline for everyone.
This depends on the treatment recommended. With Emsella, you remain clothed while the treatment produces repeated pelvic floor muscle contractions. With Emsculpt NEO, you experience strong muscle contractions along with warmth in the treatment area. Your comfort and response are monitored during treatment.
Many of the non-surgical treatments used within Core-to-Floor™ generally allow people to return to their usual activities afterward. Individual responses vary, and appropriate precautions and contraindications are reviewed before treatment.
