The PureWave system delivers pulsed electromagnetic fields through a treatment mat while you remain comfortably positioned.
At A Step Above Wellness Centre®, we do not treat PEMF as a stand-alone answer to every concern. When clinically appropriate, it may be incorporated as an adjunctive clinical support alongside assessment, education, movement, strengthening or other recommended care.
Your treatment plan is individualized, and PEMF is only recommended when appropriate for your needs and health history.

The PureWave mat does not produce the intense muscle contractions associated with some of our other technologies. Many people simply rest comfortably during their session and may feel little or no sensation from the electromagnetic field itself.
We review your health history, current concerns, implanted devices or other relevant medical considerations before recommending treatment. Not every treatment is appropriate for every person.
There is no single treatment schedule appropriate for everyone. Recommendations depend on why PEMF is being considered, your health history, goals and response to care.
It can be, when appropriate, but at A Step Above Wellness Centre® it may also be used as an adjunct within a broader care plan involving assessment, education, guided movement, progressive strengthening or other recommended clinical care.
Wear comfortable clothing and tell your practitioner about relevant changes to your health, medications, medical devices, implants or recent procedures before treatment.
