EMSCULPT NEO
Muscle Activation • Strength • Functional Support
Emsculpt NEO is a non-invasive technology used to support muscle activation and strengthening. At A Step Above Wellness Centre®, it may be used independently when appropriate or incorporated into a broader individualized care plan based on your goals, assessment findings and clinical considerations.
WHAT IT SUPPORTS
Emsculpt NEO may support:
- Muscle activation and strengthening
- core strength and stability
- neuromuscular engagement
- functional strength
- rebuilding strength following periods of reduced activity
- or deconditioning broader strength and movement goals
How the technology is used depends on the individual, the area being addressed and the goals of care.
How EMSCULPT NEO® Works
EMSCULPT NEO uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM+) energy to stimulate the nerves that control targeted muscles, creating strong, repeated muscle contractions that occur independently of voluntary exercise. These contractions place a significant workload on the muscle, encouraging muscle adaptation and remodeling, while synchronized radiofrequency gently warms the underlying tissues. At A Step Above Wellness Centre®, EMSCULPT NEO may be used when appropriate to support targeted muscle activation, strengthening and functional goals as part of an individualized care plan.
HOW IT IS USED AT A STEP ABOVE
Emsculpt NEO may be used as an individual treatment or incorporated into an individualized care plan.
Within our Core-to-Floor™ approach, it may complement pelvic floor treatment, guided movement, progressive strengthening, Reformer Pilates and physiotherapy collaboration when appropriate.
Recommendations are based on assessment findings, functional goals, health history and clinical suitability.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Emsculpt NEO treatments are non-invasive.
During treatment, the applicators are positioned over the selected muscle area. You will feel repeated muscle contractions during the session. Treatment settings and progression are individualized according to the treatment area, your tolerance and your care plan.
Depending on your goals, Emsculpt NEO may be provided independently or alongside other recommended services.
